Please take a moment to read our most commonly asked questions. We’re always available to answer your questions and encourage you to contact our office if you have a question that is not answered below.

Q: When can I call?

A: Our pediatricians are available to answer your questions or see your child 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our regular office hours are 8:00am-9:00pm Monday-Friday; 8:00am-12:00pm Saturday. During regular office hours you can make appointments for well child care, sick visits or injuries. We reserve time every day for sick visits should your child need to be seen the same day. If you are unsure whether or not your child needs to be examined, please call to speak to a nurse for advice before making an appointment.

Q: How often should my child see the pediatrician?

A: We follow the American Academy of Pediatrics recommended well-child visit schedule. This provides your medical team the opportunity to provide developmental screenings, vaccinations, and wellness exams. By attending routine wellness exams, we can ensure that any concerns related to your child’s health are addressed and help to establish a relationship between your child and their physician. Attending these recommended visits will maximize your medical team’s ability to provide the best care for your child. Most insurance plans, including Idaho Medicaid, cover these visits.
